I was looking forward to Madison and Crosby's story since the teaser in Reyes' book. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting but it was everything and more I could have wanted for these two. We got to learn more about Madison and her determination to get her brothers to look at her as an equal and we see all of them coming together to show them how much they trust her.

Crosby ... Crosby ... Crosby he is an amazing character. He spends his time taking care of his family and his surrogate family. He knows Madison has been watching him and stalking him, he's flattered but also worried about his enemies coming after his family. Crosby is entertaining as he tries to handle this strong, independent, and capable woman. As a cop he was concerned about how the McKenzie family operated but now he is joining their ranks and it is so much fun to see him interact and begin to rely on Cade and Reyes and they become a family.

We see Parrish finally let go of all his past pain and fall in love again. From the second he meets Silver he is awestruck. Parrish cannot stay away from her and uses every excuse he can find to go and see her. At first he is worried about how his children are going to react, but they're happy for him and encourage him to go for it. I'm so happy he finds his HEA with his kids he deserves it.

The McKenzie family has been through a lot of pain, triumph, and now their HEAs. I loved this family everything they stand for, rescuing victims of human trafficking and setting them up with a new life once the victims are able to reenter society. I could not put this book down and once I was done I was book drunk and did not want to leave this world, these characters. I love the future that Crosby and Madison have setup for themselves, the growing family, watching them all interact with Hallie oh the feels! While I enjoy all of Lori Foster's books, this one was the epitome of her books.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review from author and NetGalley.

I’ve been dying to read Madison’s story since I met her in book one. She is so spunky and strong willed the perfect female McKenzie woman. I loved every interaction she had in each book. Madison seems to be the brains of every operation. In every Lori Foster book she never plays the women off to be the weaker sex they are always equals and the men do not treat them any other way. Event though they may want to cuddle them and protect them, they realize the women are fully capable of handling situations on their own. I really enjoyed her story ARC in this book with Crosby and both of their situations.

Crosby was so confusing in the previous book, I figured he would be Madison’s love interest but I wasn’t even sure I liked him. My whole demeaner changed a quarter of a way into this book when all the story started to unfold. Crosby’s whole story is amazing, I almost enjoyed him more than Madison. He’s got such a gentle soul which you wouldn’t of thought previously, and I like that he thinks differently than the McKenzie’s which I noticed each of the new spouses bring a new perspective to the family.

I loved the add on characters in this book as per usual the side characters always turn more into family than just a fleeting side note. I hope to see more of them. This series kind of has a underlying serious tone to it bringing to light a real problem human trafficking and how it does need to be stopped. I enjoy how the author didn’t make light of it, and hits it straight on and makes you stop and think about it.

This is author is an auto buy author for me, I have yet to read something I disliked from her. So thank you to Lori Foster, and HQN for a copy in lieu of my honest review.

I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Foster's books. They are so well written and keep you on the edge of your seat. They contain the perfect amount of suspense, drama and steam.

The McKenzie's have been a favorite family to read about from the very beginning. Watching the relationship between Crosby and Madison has been incredibly entertaining. They've gone from dislike, to wariness, to interest to love. Their trust and confidence in each other has grown as well.

Family is definitely what you make it.

Madison and Crosby are a match made on the pages. Madison is curious and doesn't stop digging until she has all the answers. But when she uncovers secrets Crosby is hiding, she realizes they're more to him than she thought.

Okay, let me preface by saying I am a big fan of Lori Foster -- her books are an auto-buy for me and they will continue to be until her writing days are over. Foster always knows how to bring the romance, the passion, and the layered plot that too many romantic suspense books end up lacking. Her latest, Watching Over You, has all the right elements: suspense, romance, sarcastic dialogue, and interesting character dynamics. Unfortunately, though, the development of feelings between the two main characters felt a bit rushed to me. Crosby, a single dad, goes from being incredibly private and protective of his family to introducing Madison (female lead he's interested in) to his very young daughter in what seemed like a fraction of a scene; their relationship progression was fast considering Crosby's character traits. I also would've liked to see more scenes with Madison and Crosby's daughter that included dialogue between the two of them -- most of their scenes were through Crosby's eyes, not Madison's. However, the chemistry between Parrish and Silver was on-point. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes with Parrish and Hallie, and quite frankly those were the scenes I was missing between Madison and Hallie. The ending was sweet but also moved pretty fast, and I felt like the potential for danger was a unfulfilled. I will always be a fan of Foster and while it wasn't my favorite, it was still an enjoyable read. Romantic suspense fans will find Watching Over You perfect for curling up in front of a fire with some hot chocolate and a warm blanket.

*I received a free copy of Watching Over You. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review which is honest and unbiased.*

The McKenzies continue to surprise me, and I loved Addison and Crosby's story so much! She's been lusting after the detective for a little while, and now, she's decided to up the ante so to say. He's still a bit hesitant, though, because he has some secrets, and people he wants to keep safe no matter the cost...

I loved the family dynamics even more in this installment, especially because we finally get to know the McKenzie clan dad much, much better. Of course, the banter between the brothers and sister is something I'm always there for, and seeing Crosby fit in was just right.

There are some dark themes in these novels, but the McKenzie clan is there to help, and they're not afraid of crossing any lines doing so.

The romance between Addison and Crosby was very well done, and I loved that they both had to work for it in different ways.

Didn't get any chemistry from the couple and too much focus on the dad's storyline when this was supposed to be Madison's. Didn't understand a lot of the character's motivations.

Cade had his story. Reyes had his. Now, Madison has hers. The chase was on almost from the moment Madison McKenzie set eyes on former cop Crosby Albertson. However, he shut her down flat. Now that Madison's father, Parrish McKenzie, has hired Crosby, Madison's feelings for the rugged guy grow even deeper.

Parrish has trained his children well. They champion the cause of saving women from desperate situations, especially human trafficking rings. Madison has superior computer skills along with the elite physical training she got along with her brothers. Even though she is not sure why her father has hired Crosby, she cannot deny how a ray of hope shines with regard to her feelings for him.

Crosby has his reasons for accepting this new job with a family he is certain is full of secrets. Crosby has a few of his own. Balancing his career and personal life causes him to tow a fine line, but Crosby's reasons are borne of necessity. Knowing that he will soon be working very closely with Madison soon proves to be of great benefit for the circumstances in his life. More than that, Crosby would no doubt have personal gain if he admits his attraction to Madison.

Surprisingly there is a secondary love story in this already compelling book. Factor in the wonderful romances that are brewing, with tension and danger facing everyone involved, this fabulous story by Lori Foster proved to be a terrific read. Crosby and Madison are well matched, as is everyone else in this terrific series.

Many thanks to HQN Books and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.
