I definitely liked this one more than the third book, but sometimes I wish smut writers would stop trying to create big plotlines. Especially magical realism/fantasy-ish plots. It just feels juvenile and forced.

I always hesitate with this trope, because the long-pining only works if they have chemistry based on more than physical attractiveness, and I don't think Apollo and Cass has that. Besides the, "omg they are so smart."

Let's be honest, we're all here for the smut anyway.

This was so much better than I was expecting it to be. Cassandra is such a great character. She has so much depth and she felt so real to me. I love this version of Apollo. He was sooooo good. I love how kind and loyal he was. This whole book was executed very well and I really enjoyed it.

A pretty standard next instalment of the Dark Olympus series! It was a super quick and fun read with, of course, very spicy moments, of which Katee Robert is queen! I was actually surprised by some plot points and enjoyed the locked-house style mystery.

I liked that this book delved more into the lore and history of Olympus which I felt was missing in the first two books, and you could definitely see how she was setting the stage for the next books to develop. Unfortunately I think the characterization suffered because of this and I didn’t feel particularly strongly about either Apollo or Cassandra, but I still was rooting for them to end up together!

The main couple in this book is fine. Apollo and Cassandra are a solid couple and as always Robert delivers on the erotica front. I am so intrigued about the overall plot of the Olympus world, which is really being highlighted in this book and looks like it'll be more central going forward.

Another solid book in the Dark Olympus series! This book has a mix of the plot involving the scheming amongst and against the Thirteen as well as that signature Katee Robert spice (though less than the previous books in the series). I enjoyed this one. Apollo is the sweetest dom, he deeply cares for Cassandra. Cassandra is strong willed and fiercely cares for those closest to her. I would recommend this book!
