Super cute and fun, with just a touch of magical realism and a delightful cast of side characters. I loved Catherine’s quest to figure out her identity - not just to find her paperwork, but also to find herself - and Luca was such a sweet, kind love interest. Just a lovely book.

Super easy read. Definition of don’t judge a book by its cover bc that’s all Catherine did. Sal was a lovely character. I think it reminded me of the quirky characters of a small town like in Gilmore Girls.

Normally I love books that have a touch of magic and a cast of quirky side characters, but I struggled to feel invested in this one. I loved The Second Chance Year by the same author so I went in with high expectations. I was also expecting this one to be more of a romance than it was.
