The main character, Fallon, was pretty annoying and naive. I could’ve done without her obsession with Dante who was a walking red flag from the beginning. With that being said there’s a LOT of world building which I enjoy in a fantasy. Different fantasy elements than I’ve experienced in previous series, so for that aspect, 4 stars. Hits all the best tropes for me in fantasy romance #fatedmates #touchheranddie #oppositesattract

"You may control many things, Lorcan Rihbiadh, but you surely cannot control the rhythm of my heart."
"I control all that belongs to me, Behach Ean."

Fallon Rossi succeeded in her efforts to find and release the iron crows needed to bring back Lorcan Rihbiadh, the Crow King feared by fae across Luce, and put Dante on the throne- so why is she not Queen of Luce? A prisoner in the Sky Kingdom- supposedly for her own safety- Fallon now has to decide what is truly in her heart- and if she can accept her own origin story and fulfil her destiny.

The Kingdom of Crows series has my heart you guys!! I LOVE binging a series- I want to be fully immersed and read about the same characters for weeks, if possible. I read book one and started book two immediately!! The plot, the character development, the conflict- EVERYTHING just takes off in this book. It is a wild ride!!!

Things I loved:
- Again, the banter between Fallon and Lorcan is amazing- I loved 'listening' to their conversations, especially through their mind-link.
- Phoebus- still one of my favourite supporting characters
- the settings: I can totally visualize these different worlds
- Fallon's development: While she isn't the strongest FMC I've read, I do love Fallon, and root for her throughout the story to continually improve. She comes a long way!
- Lorcan Rihbiadh- If you had of told me that I would find a crow sexy, I'd say you're crazy. Yet here we are. Here. We. Are.

Things I would change:
- Nothing. BUT: I really want a spin-off story of Cathal and Zendaya (EDIT: THIS IS HAPPENING!!!! A Novella called House of Rising Sands!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- The release date for Book 3: I NEED IT NOW!

If you like reading anything- then read this book. It is amazing!
- Romantasy
- Fated Mates
- Mind-Bonds
- "Touch her and die" vibes
- slow burn
- spice!

Thank the gods that Fallon finally pulls her head out of her ass in the latter portion of this, but it still took wayyyy too long, and her stubborn know-it-all nature for things she has no experience with is extremely frustrating to read. But again, the world and the plot were good save for the main character herself for 2/3 of the book.
