CAN I JUST SAY THAT CLIFFHANGER 😅 HOW DARE YOU.

My mind is working in overload to process all that. This book was action packed filled with twists, betrayal, so much character information with a touch of romance!

I do wish we got a little more on the romance side however I like that their relationship wasn’t rushed or “insta love”.

I love how unique this storyline/magic system is and I cannot wait for the next book!

Loved this installment of the series compared to book one. I felt it got into the events a lot quicker and the character development was better as well. I cannot believe that it ended on that cliffhanger though and I am scared what the author is going to do to our main character next. I did not see it coming with the person who was behind a lot of things and where the main character ended up at the end, so that was refreshing. Usually the villains are revealed and I can almost see it coming. This one, I was suspicious the character was withholding information, did not expect them to be plotting like this. Will be exciting to see how that plays out in book 3, which is out in June. So not long to wait....but I do sort of need it now!
