Hated the main character this book and Lore wasn’t much better. He didn’t tell her anything, let her think he was getting betrothed and continued to keep secrets, he didn’t try to romance her or like be a good partner. And she herself was a petulant brat the entire time, being insulting and pathetic. They refused to have a real conversation where she asked questions or anything, I guess for plot purposes, but it was ridiculous. I’m really disappointed, I loved the first book and I had such high hopes but it was just so bad.
