"Fire Night" is a short novella taking place roughly 10 years after the events of "Nightfall", about a year before the epilogue.  We learn that the families have continue to grow and thrive.   During an annual event for the town something happens that puts some of the family members in danger.  How they react says a lot about everyone, and sheds light on what could happen in the future.

I have a hate-love relationship with this series and these characters but I still enjoyed this series so much and even loved it.

Cute but would have preferred it be longer. I wish she would make a series for the kids. I’m very curious about Madden and Ivarsen and where they end up as well as Octavia.

This book is crumbs, small morsels.

I love Mads and Octavia. This was a good short novel. One of my favorite series.
