I liked it better than KOW hence reading it in 2 days but the plot wasn’t fully consistent. Like once they fell in love with each other the book lost the same absurdity that it composed in the beginning. Like it was so out of hand going into it that I was a little disappointed it didn’t follow through till the epilogue and barely that. I hated how the guy that butchered Kai’s opportunity of CEO was only mentioned once like there were barely any clues as to who it would be honestly I thought it was Paxton. Kai and Isabella characters were super cute and I enjoyed watching them banter. HOWEVER I know it was planned for Kai to not be as aggressive as the former characters in the pre series but….. I still kinda missed the whole you touch her and I’ll kill you vive like it was there but it did not fulfill my satisfaction. Honestly the book wasn’t really predictable….
I thought Kai’s mom had cancer like how did she get married to his dad again???? There was no connection there. Isabella’s procrastination drove my anxiety mad.  Also I think my favorite part is being left to wonder if she said yes because like I know it’s implied considering it’s two years later but part of me wishes she crushed his mortal soul👀. Kai’s great an all but sometimes people need to bend and snap.

I enjoyed this book i do think king of wrath is my fav in the series so far i did enjoy trying to guess the next couple in the next book and my guess was between Dominic & Alessandra and Sloane and her client but when i got to the end of the book it said king of greed is gonna be Dominic and Alessandra’s relationship and i can’t wait i do love how Ana Huang keeps adding the characters from her twisted series to this series i was so happy when Alex & Ava made an appearance i do keep wondering when Josh & Jules will make an appearance maybe in the next book i highly recommend reading this book it is very enjoyable i love how there all interconnected that’s my favorite part about the twisted and kings of sin series overall i struggled between rating this book a four stars or five stars i tried rating it four but four stars for any of Ana Huang’s books just don’t sit right with me so in going with five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍P.S I’m really starting to think/realize that Ana Huang is one of my favorite if not my only favorite authors for many many reasons🥰🥰🥰

King of Pride is the second book in the Kings of Sin series. It follows Kai Young who is a member of the Valhalla Club (a billionaires club), who is working on becoming the next CEO of his family’s company Young Corporation & Isabella Valencia a bartender at Valhalla and aspiring published author.

This was another great installment in this series! Ana has created two characters that the reader really roots for through all their ups and downs in their personal relationships with their families and their professional aspirations. There was intrigue involving Kai’s long and winding road to becoming CEO, and Isabella’s journey to self-love and acceptance of her personality and perceived flaws, were beautiful to see. The humor/banter were awesome, as well as the steamy scenes. Can’t wait for Dominic and Alessandra’s book King of Greed!
