Kai is probably Ana Huang’s best man yet tbh.
I wished they yearned for each other for a bit longer, I think they gave in a bit too quickly. It kinda started to fizzle out after they got together

I think this one actually had good potential but kinda lacked certain things to make it better

King of Pride is the second book in the Kings of Sin series. It follows Kai Young who is a member of the Valhalla Club (a billionaires club), who is working on becoming the next CEO of his family’s company Young Corporation & Isabella Valencia a bartender at Valhalla and aspiring published author.

This was another great installment in this series! Ana has created two characters that the reader really roots for through all their ups and downs in their personal relationships with their families and their professional aspirations. There was intrigue involving Kai’s long and winding road to becoming CEO, and Isabella’s journey to self-love and acceptance of her personality and perceived flaws, were beautiful to see. The humor/banter were awesome, as well as the steamy scenes. Can’t wait for Dominic and Alessandra’s book King of Greed!

I really enjoyed this one! It was fun seeing the progression of Kai and Isabella’s relationship. I loved that Kai was a softer version of himself with her even before they became involved. Ordering the drinks based on whatever embarrassing comment he overheard her say? So funny and cute. He was so sweet at building up Isabella’s confidence and she brought out this softer more relaxed side of Kai. They became better versions of themselves together despite being opposites. It also can’t go without mentioning that in true Ana Huang fashion this book is hot and spicy. I definitely recommend it and honestly can’t wait to read Dominic and Alessandra’s story next, I am dying to learn about those two!
