I was really disappointed by this book. I am a huge Lauren Asher fan and typically love all of her books. Love Redesigned was a 5 ⭐️ for me so I was looking forward Rafael’s story. I am not exactly sure what was missing, expect that the book didn’t snag my attention like the others. I felt like I was skimming waiting for the plot to really get going even at the end

The second book in the Lakefront Billionaires series was sweet, with a cute and kindhearted young boy and some delightfully quirky rescue animals that added so much charm. That said, I did feel it ran a bit too long for the story being told. Still, a heartwarming read overall.
