“One day, when you find the one you’ve been looking for, he better do everything in his power to keep you because you deserve the kind of love that they write songs about.”

One thing about this series is how I love that Lauren Asher is able to bring a sense of normalcy into her books! Reading her books feels more like watching a tv than just reading words on a page. So far this series is hands down my favorite by her because these characters feel more like family to me than anything else.

“You’re mine, Elle. In every sense of the word, from here on out, because I love you.”

I loved finally reading this book, it has been sitting on my shelf for ages. I don’t think that if I would’ve read it anyway before I would’ve fully enjoyed it as much. I was so scared once I got to a certain point that there was going to be a third-act breakup but Lauren did NOT let me down — thank God. I don’t know how to explain it but the book cover being pink truly compliments with Ellie’s personality and just the general vibes of the book as a whole.
