This was the cutest freaking story I have ever read, this has to be my favourite Lauren Asher book of all time. I truly mean it if my boyfriend doesn't act like how Rafael did then I don't want him, this man was so thoughtful and kind hearted, I loved the way he protected Ellie and I adored him and his son's relationship. Nico was so adorable, I find sometimes they write children into the books and they are annoying but Nico was so needed in this story I loved the dynamic between them all. I feel like the topics that was dealt with in this book was done so beautifully and I love how Lauren didn't romantise them and treated them carefully. Ellie and Rafael might just be my new favourite couple out of this series, I can't get enough how both of them were so willing to fight for each other and I loved how they blended together. I generally can't wait to read the rest of this series, if this is how good they are so far I don't doubt they will just get better and better.

i felt like the book could’ve finished a lot sooner but the story line was cute typical singer meets single dad trope. can’t wait for the third book to learn about Lily and Lorenzo!
