These are 'Graphic Audio' novels, so they are audio books with sound effects and music! The story is entertaining enough, but it's neat to listen to. I'll keep going. It reminds me of Tomb Raider, which I've never seen or played, but a friend let me borrow the movies to make a true comparison! We'll see. Just seems like a 'hot chick kicks ass' kind of book with some supernatural added in.

pure guilty pleasure braincandy. The characters are one dimensional, right down to way-too-good-at-everything Anna. having said that, i picked this up due to hearing part of it via Graphic Audio presentation. and if there is anything you can say for GA, its that they can turn a C-list book into at least a high B presentation.

I was tossing and turning unable to sleep and was looking for something old and familiar to lull me towards some shut eye and downloaded Destiny, book 1 in the Rogue Angel series that I’d enjoyed years ago. And instantly became hooked again. The storylines have held up well, the action is still riveting, the history twist interesting and I still get a giggle at Annja’s co worker’s ‘wardrobe malfunctions’. Only 56 more to go...yes!

Adventure, definitely along the veins of The Librarian/Lara Croft

I really enjoyed this book (I'm a sucker for books like these). What I loved most was that the main character wasn't getting rescue every five seconds by the same mysterious man who she would later fall in love with. Yes, she is rescued from a situation or two that she wouldn't be able to get out of on her own, BUT she could also take care of herself, AND she wasn't crying or putting herself down.

Overall great series and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Lots of telling, not enough showing. And the main character is quite a Mary Sue - young, beautiful, knows everything about everything, also a badass karate master, etc etc. Just a bit too over the top, and the writing style bugs me.
