Wow! There is something about Willow’s writing and stories that just captivate me right from the start. This second chance romance was a beautiful and emotional journey. Sophie’s history is heart wrenching, but the beauty of their connection is something you don’t see often. They are so connected and understanding of each other. I love seeing their HEA!!

Tropes:
- Second Chance
- Small Town
- Childhood Friends to High School Sweethearts
- Emotional Past

Theo and Sophie have loved each other since they were kids. His family was her family and they loved her as such. One night, eight years ago, everything changed for both of them. Theo has spent the last eight years barely living, he tried but nothing seemed to fit. Now Sophie is back, and he tries to keep her at arm’s length and hate her but once he finds out the truth, will everything change for them?

Sophie comes home after her father dies to be close to those that she loves. She expects everyone to hate her, but she feels like she will do whatever it takes just to be around them. She keeps a huge secret hidden about the past and deals with the ramifications of that night the best that she can. When she is finally ready to tell Theo about the past, will he be able to forgive her?

“And there’s only ever been you.”
“Sophie.”

I loved this book, I was addicted from the first page and could not put it down. Watching Theo and Sophie interact is heartbreaking and you struggle while they do while you have tears running down your face. I feel like this book can connect with a lot of people out there, and you cannot help but love the Landmark family. I loved how Theo helped Sophie work through her trauma and was just as devastated as she was once, he knew the truth. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait until Marlow and Wyatt’s story.

Sofie could leave better voicemails. Their physical relationship seemed a little crazy considering everything.

This is the second book in the Landmark Mountain series. It follows Sofie who is just moving back to town after leaving 8 years ago without warning. Including leaving her boyfriend at the time Theo. They were childhood sweethearts before she left and she  wants to repair what they lost, but Theo is still hurt she left without warning. It was a cute story, but I couldn’t get over the miscommunication these two had.

Welcome back to Landmark Mountain, and the world that Willow has meticulously crafted to suck us in and make us want to be a part of!

Theo has been in love with Sofie since they were 8 years old, their future was set, at least that’s what he thought. Sofie loved Theo with everything she had, but she also had secrets that she was too afraid to share. Can these two work through their issues and get their HEA?

Everything Willow writes comes directly from her heart and it shows, especially with this story. This one covers some deep and traumatic events, but with her usual grace Willow doesn’t go for the obvious reaction, she writes gently and genuinely and makes you care for these fictional characters like they are part of your own family, which is why I will read all of Willows books, and why you should too.

This is book 2 in the Landmark Mountain book series, and there are more to come. Start with Unforgettable, roll right into Someday and then get ready for Irresistible!! I can’t wait to see what Willow has in store for Wyatt!!

This was so much better than book 1 in the series. I am glad that Sofie opened up to Theo fairly soon after getting back to Landmark instead of dragging it out for more of the book. I am very excited for the next book in the series now!
