I really loved this second chance story between Theo and Sophie. My heart broke for of them. I am so glad they got their HEA. I loved learning about these character and falling in love with them. Willow has done it again with the next book in the Landmark Mountain Series.

I didn’t like the MCs. Wasn’t a fan. Especially the heroine, she just seemed very frown worthy to me

The emotional distress that Theo and Sofie put me through... I still do not know if I am recovered.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH! And I truly could not put it down. The depth of the history between Theo and Sofie was so palpable I wanted to cry for them. Despite trying his best to stay away from her after feeling betrayed years ago, Theo can't help to be curious when Sofie returns back to their small town years later. Many years ago Sofie and Theo were thick as thieves and madly in love, but out of nowhere Sofie leaves Theo a note and runs away. Completely untracable (Theo definitely tried) and with no real answers, Theo had no choice but to turn that hurt into anger towards Sofie.

Sofie knew coming back was going to be hard, but she needed to try now that she knew she could. Upon returning, she is so hesitant to reach out to Theo (for good reason), but when their paths do eventually cross she knows she will do anything in her power to get his forgiveness.

Sofie's story was so beautifully done. It was not something that could have been rushed out. Theo's patience with her once he slowly starts to get a picture at Sofie's real past was so heartwarming. At the end of the day, Theo could never deny Sofie and I am so happy with how he handled it.

WITH NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP, siblings and a family (on Theo's side), small town bets/gossip this book really kept me on my toes and wanting more after every page. I loved how their story unfolded and it tugged at my heart in alll the right places.

Absolutely beautiful and heart wrenching story, BUT MAN DO I RECOMMEND IT!!! Please read this book asap, if you haven't already!

This book had me from the very beginning!!! The story of Theo and Sofie will have you in all your feels throughout the book. There is some tough subject matter so please know going into it, but overall the book was fantastic!!

My favorite quote was “Sometimes history doesn’t have to repeat itself. The cycle can be broken.”

This is the second book in the Landmark Mountain Series. I did not read the first book prior to reading Someday. However, I do plan to go back and read it and continue to follow this series because I loved it that much!!!

Thank you Valentine PR and author Willow Aster for providing me with an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Beautiful Second Chance Romance

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 🌶 🌶 🌶

"I lied about so much, but I never lied about loving you."

Wow, just wow! This book was amazing! Sofie and Theo's story was so sweet and an emotional roller coaster, but I loved every minute of the ride!

Theo and Sofie meet as children and quickly become fast friends. Their connection is strong, and as teenagers, they realize their feelings for each other and fall in love. When something terrible happens that causes Sofie to leave town, she leaves only a note for Theo that causes more questions.

Fast forward eight years, and Sofie returns to Landmark and also returns to a not so happy Theo who holds a lot of anger for the way things ended. Sofie is determined to fix their broken love and heal from the past that still haunts her.

I love Willow's writing and the way she can just pull you into the story. I love the small town of Landmark that she's created and all the characters. Sofie and Theo's story is filled with so much passion, emotion, and redemption. I thought that they had such a strong emotional connection, and their pull to one another has you rooting for them to make it work. Both characters had significant growth throughout the story.

Someday is Book 2 in the Landmark Mountain series, but it can be read as a standalone. I also recommend the first book in the series, Unforgettable, as the characters from that book are mentioned in this one. The Landmark series follows five siblings and their journals finding love.

There is something about the small town emotional books that I absolutely love. Theo and Sofie were childhood sweethearts who broke up when Sofie left unexpectedly and broke both of their hearts in the process. Eight years later, she comes back to Landmark and finds out Theo is not all that forgiving about what happened in the past, but their family keeps pushing them together.

The secrets that broke them up in the first place come out and I was crying at what Sofie had to go through. She is so strong and that strength is what helped Theo fall back in love with her. I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting when I should have been working. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

“You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, Firefly. You shine the brightest of all.”

- Small-town romance
- Second chance romance
- Dual POV
- Check CWs (listed in the beginning)

In Someday, we follow Scarlett's brother and livestock vet, Theo, whose one and only love, Sofie, is back in town. There's a lot of animosity between them in the beginning, as Theo finds it hard to be around her when she abandoned him eight years ago. But when she finally tells him why she ran away, Theo is all in.

So, I found Someday to be good but it didn’t blow me away. I managed to read it in less than three hours on a plane and felt overall that I just needed more. A little more openness from Sofie. A little more relationship depth because it truly felt like all they did was *you know* and ya girl needs more plot with her spice. I also thought there was a real opportunity to dig deeper and add some delicious angst and emotion concerning some of the heavier topics discussed. But personally, it felt like the author just skated over the surface instead.

I will definitely continue the series, but Theo didn’t quite charm me as much as Jamison.

Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for the early copy.

💜 Friends To Lovers
🤍 Small Town
💜 Traumatic Past
🤍 Second Chance

This was such a beautiful story following Theo and Sofie. Sofie left and hurt Theo so bad and he didn't know or understand why! Sofie had a rough childhood that no one knew about and when the last string was pulled she left town in order to protect Theo and his family. There's so much emotion and angst between these two and the spice... 🥵 These two had some great chemistry and definitely worked on getting past well the past and moving forward with the future!! So good!!
