Julia Connors created a second chance romance that was so easy to fall in love with.

Secret baby is not my go-to trope. The idea of hiding a baby from a parent is a tricky one for me, I need a very good reason. Enter Julia Connors... The way this part of the storyline was written was brilliant. The reasons and circumstances that led to Drew not knowing about Graham were understandable and plausible for the characters and their storylines.
Audrey had alot of reservations about rekindling a relationship with Drew and I loved how he worked hard to show her that he loved her and Graham and was in it for the long haul.

I adored how Drew and Audrey fumbled through their second chance and Drew's relationship with Graham. Several times it was two steps forward and one step back, which created an authenticity to their story.
Julia Connors definitely bought the heat, the chemistry between Drew and Audrey sizzled from the beginning.

There was a great sense of found family in their story with such a mix of family and teammates. I loved so many of the side characters and am excited to read their stories.

I love the secret baby/child trope. And this one was so well done. Drew was so open and honest about his feelings with Audrey. They both had their reasons for being upset about the events that lead to Audrey being a single mom to Graham but I thought they handled it very maturely. As their relationship grew, they complimented each other extremely well.

Drew came back to Boston to help his mom and to rehab his hockey career. What he found in Boston was something he didn’t know he’d left behind. For the first half of the book he really struggled with his priorities and responsibilities, and it was refreshing to see a MMC be so honest about it. Once he decided he was all in with Audrey, he was all in and he found ways to prioritize her without slacking on the other responsibilities in his life.

It took me awhile to warm up to Audrey. I felt like she held a lot back when Drew was trying to step up. It took her friends pointing out how unfair she was being for her to really realize that she was compromising her own happiness by holding on to misconceptions and fears.

Overall I liked this book. It was fairly lighthearted and entertaining. I liked seeing Drew develop a relationship with Graham. I liked the way his relationship with Audrey blossomed. It’s definitely a series I will continue to read as I found the secondary characters to be very interesting.

Another great hockey romance to add to the mix! I usually don't like the secret baby trope but I was here for it in this book.

This story was told in dual POV which I love as it helps understand the characters better.

Drew and Audrey knew each other in college and after a one night stand Audrey's life changed forever. Drew left to play in the NHL and never returned any of Audrey's calls so he had no idea that she was pregnant. 5 years later Drew is traded to the NHL team in his home team and he very quickly runs into Audrey. During this run in her son is with her and after Drew asked him how old he was he started to figure it all out.

Drew wants nothing more then to be a part of his sons life and really wants Audrey back as well. Audrey is hesitant to let him back in as she doesn't want her son to get hurt. The steamy tension between them takes over immediately and we learn very quickly that it will be very hard for them to stay away from each other.

Watching this story unfold was amazing and I absolutely love their little family!
