First book of 2018 down! Read for my language arts class. Excited to dive deep into the major themes of this book and write about it!

I wanted to enjoy it with all its hype. But for me this was very slow and boring...

love this book so much, it just sucks you into the plot and it’s really easy to read. though if you’re looking for some real information on the holy grail or something don’t read this for research

DNF. This book felt a lot like being mansplained religious conspiracy theories under the guise of an adventure novel. I expected this book to be more solving puzzles in a sort of National Treasure way, but I just got bored with all the info dumps. Also, I didn’t appreciate that the only girl in the book was Sophie and she was used as a way for info dumps to be delivered and for Langdon to save the day. Just overall in my opinion not great.
