This was an interesting read. I felt like I was reading a book from the 70's--the writing, the plot. It had a very "surface" feel to it. Roman never made me fall in love with him. Perhaps as a longer book, the author could have really pulled it off.

I enjoyed the characters in this book and the plot was okay. Unfortunately the writing was awful. There were tons of grammatical errors and rambling run-on sentences, plus the random POV switches were distracting. Overall, I'm not sure I would try other books by this author.
