Walt Whitman had a lot of thoughts, and he had the unique experience of having a young companion who followed and transcribed Whitman's thoughts of a tremendous range of subjects. The author of this book collected passages from both Whitman's writings and the volumes that Horace Traubel recorded. The result is a summary of Whitman's thoughts on hot topics of the time ranging from Abraham Lincoln to Aging.
