Alice Feeney does it again! I really thought I had this one pegged and was ready to be disappointed but I didn’t see it coming! I love how her intricate stories come together so we’ll at the end and they’re really not that far-fetched!
This was super fun and I listened to it in one sitting. I also loved that the one POV was narrated with the voice distorter!
The only thing I didn’t particularly care for was the extra descriptions of the sexual things Rachel did. It was easy to pick up on what kind of person she was, so I thought that was a bit overdone….

3.5 stars. This was an extremely dark, messed up journey — one I was riveted by but just could not enjoy, especially at the end. Alice Feeney can write the hell out of a thriller, and there were genuinely terrifying moments all throughout.

Ultimately, this was maybe just a touch too triggering for me, and a good reminder that I need a break from this genre for a bit.
