Powerless & Powerful. I am writing the review as one because I did a tandem read. This was my first tandem and I absolutely loved it. It just felt like it was one book, jumping among four characters. Lauren Roberts writing in these two novels was so captivating. The words put instant pictures in my mind and I can so see this being a movie one day. I cried, I laughed out loud, I was on the edge of my seat. I absolutely adored Paedyn. She’s strong, courageous, never backs down, and an all around badass! I couldn’t put it down. These will be at the top of my list for 2024 reads. I highly suggest the tandem if you haven’t read these two gems.

This was such a good book and I think that, if I had read it at a different time, it could've been a five star. There are a LOT of parallels to The Hunger Games and that kind of took me out of it and I read it when I was in a slump. However, this is the BEST romance I have EVER read. Kai is my favorite book boyfriend of all time and I cannot wait to read the second one.

If you are one of those people who loves this book do not read this review, I don't wanna hear it.

This book was a hunger games rip off the only reason it is getting 2 stars is that Goodreads does not have a 1.5 option the only reason for 1.5 is Adina .

This book was a cheep hunger games rip of the characters were lacking so much the world building was non existent we knew the bare minimum for anything to make sense,

this book was character focused which works when the charecters are well done, and the plot isn't it, it is just troupe after troupe. I wanted to love this book but 3 days to read a YA romantacy should say it all,
