Was this a literary masterpiece? No. Was it predictable? Yes. Did I enjoy every second? Yes… yes I did.

It’s an easy, enjoyable fantasy romance. I listened on audio and finished it in two days.

The plot is obvious hunger games vibes. The romance is flirty and sarcastic. The writing is very young and simple, but i actually liked that it was so easy to get through. Going to dive straight into Reckless now.

I loved the beginning of the book, it had such a good flow and I loved the writing style. But at the book went on it got a bit slow, the trials also felt half-done, I also felt like they were not very well explained. I also found the end of the book a bit anticlimactic.
