I mean it’s hunger games and fourth wing combined. The writing is mediocre. Very young adult and predictable. Had high hopes for this one.

Interesting enough plot, very reminiscent of the hunger games plus overly sensuous young adults. Pretty clear the author was 18 when she started writing, and that editing was not high on the list of priorities (words missing, 'to' instead of 'too', 'reign' instead of 'rein', etc), which is possible to ignore but still quite disruptive

I did not like the ending at all, but felt true to the HG cliff-hanging aspect
