Brilliant, on point and in your face.

"Let us celebrate women and girls that sin!"

I've highlighted so much and had to stop several times while reading to ponder a new idea Eltahawy explores in this book. I loved her anger and how fed up she was with everyone's denial and excuses for patriarchy all over the world. I did however feel like the chapters jumped all over the place and didn't argue the value of each individual "sin" as much as it could have. Still, she definitely got her point across, at least to me anyway. F*** the patriarchy!

Repetitive at times, but otherwise very good. I want to hand a copy to every teenage girl I know.
