3.5 stars from me. Would be 4 but the from cover says "12 hours, 4 captives, one chance to save them". And somehow these don't relate to the story AT ALL.
As Spoiler alert; they're all dead from the onset of the story. What chance to save them??
I think although the characters could have used some more depth (which might be given in the prior 3 books I haven't read so im not docking many pointsfor that)
I really enjoyed the story from the police investigation view. I believe that, like a real police investigation, each lead had to be investigated, corroborated. Although some readers may have found this as slow, I particularly enjoyed that aspect of it.
I think it got a little predictable towards the end (last 150 or so pages) but we have to find out who it is eventually!

I really enjoyed this book and the author was awesome! You found out what happened with the murders just as the inspector did. Overall, a cozy and cold winter thriller read

Really struggled to finish this book. I didn't feel like it engaged or excited me to read on. I felt a bit bored of the story line and couldn't wait to finish the book.

Another fantastic installment of this series, I really look forward to winter and another release..
The setting was a bit eerie and I didn’t know which way it would turn.
The only tiny minor negative for me is Annie, she’s to nice and unrealistic, I’m sure most of us would have a moan about being stuck with the baby all the time, she doesn’t even give James a “Ffs, not again!
