Loved! Im getting a little tired of fae but wow fae vampires and witches and alchemists? And maybe dragons? The spice was great and the slow reveals. Can't wait for brimstone!

This romantasy has a lot of cross pollination with multiple sub categories in fantasy. Kind of interesting. Beauty and the Beast and ACOTAR vibes. This could be a good intro to fantasy book for young adults.

Soooo I liked this book, it took 100 pages or so to get into it. The quicksilver was an interesting concept that I haven't read before. However, I felt like I was reading fan fiction because of the stark similarities to SJMs universe. I'm not sure I get all the hype, this book is definitely a little over hyped. Overall I did enjoy it.
