It’s giving 365 Days but also not. Will definitely be reading the other two books in the trilogy because the FMC is a badass.

Part one of yesterdays binge read.
Sometimes when your chronic pain means you can't get up, you have to have a binge read day. This was free on amazon and i haven't read a mafia book in ages so i grabbed it.
Solid started (I obviously liked it as i read the entire series).

If you are looking for a dark mafia book that a wild and crazy ride, you’ll have to suspend your disbelief, will leave you with your mouth wide open during some chapters, has a fmc that a little annoying but she serves a purpose and she doesn’t back down from a fight, and has a mmc that has a few wires crossed upstairs but you find yourself really drawn to him and his troubled past. Then this book is for you!

This story starts off with Gina and her husband Toni, who works in the mafia, leaving the church they just got married in to head to the airport to go on their honeymoon. When all of a sudden their driver pulls over and they are surrounded by men with guns who kills Gina’s husband in front of her, hits her over the head and takes her to this unknow location and lock her in a prison cell. The Don in charge, Draco “Jefe”, finally comes to see her after a few days and immediately takes her out of the cell and put her in a room in his mansion. Gina can’t remember where she knows him from but he knows exactly who she is and he plans to keep her forever.

Listen!!! This book had me screaming, yelling, looking crazy with my mouth open, and left speechless at the things Gina goes through in this book. Draco isn’t your average mafia book boyfriend. Nothing about this man is sane, sweet, or even pleasant. You will more than likely end up hating him for the way he treats Gina and his staff. He’s way of teaching his people a lesson is very different and I want to understand the way his mind works the way it does and how did he get to be like this. Needless to say I’m intrigued and I’m going to continue on with the series!

DID NOT FINISH: 48%

The MMC was absolutely horrible to the FMC. And every single one of his workers were pissing me off. Like how do you expect her to listen to your rules when you don’t give her the necessary facilities (IE a clock when you want her to have meals at a certain time) everyone was looking at her crazy like she didn’t get pissed on, beaten up multiple times, starved, dehydrated, sleep on the cold ground, and have to pee on herself for the past month. I liked the lethal souls trilogy by this author and I usually like dark romances, but this wasn’t for me. He was the cause of majority of her issues, and it all changed because he met her once when they were younger and her dad said they were going to get married…Like I can’t help thinking that if she was any other girl, her fate would have been much worse with way less compassion from the MMC. Chapter 11 was the cherry on top of why Draco is absolutely disgusting 🤢. Like in what would he be attractive…no redemption arc could save his character…

**Trigger Warning**

I have never heard of this author, and its a damn shame because I loved this book. From my understanding dark isn't her go too, but damn did she rock it.

yes

Gianna, I loved her, like girl crushed loved her. She kept her wits, she was strong, and she used her head. Her husband is murdered, she is kidnapped, and is held captive waiting for the boss to show up.

The boss being Draco. He is ruthless, dominant, evil, and down right sexy.

Scared-and-horny

Like I don't even feel bad. Like the author can write a sex scene.
"You want to hate me, but I know you want my cock just as badly as I was your pussy, Gianna"

Draco demands obedience, and to be honest, as a dark reader lover,  I don't think he was that bad to Gianna, I mean besides killing her husband.

well

LOL

To my dark readers, I think you will enjoy this.

The biggest question when going into a dark read, is the anti hero redeemable,

My answer would be yes.

Lastly, Shanora Williams, I need the next book. Please
