EMILY RATH IS TRYING TO TAKE ME OUT WITH THESE CHARACTERS!!!! & ALSO FCK TROY & BEE CAUSE I LOATHE THEM. It took me a few months to pick up this book because I loved Pucking Around so much I feel like nothing could have ever topped it. BUT this book was just as good as the first one. I loved Tess & Ryan so much & God did I wanna stomp on Troy & Bee. This book made me feel real feelings for the characters which is kind of hard sometimes for books. Idk how Rath keeps doing the damn thing but I'm here for it!

If you’re looking for live able characters and a high spice level, Emily Roth’s Pucking series is for you. She does a great job of avoiding macho BS by creating emotionally available MMCs willing to do whatever it takes to win their woman. In a genre full of problematic themes and “heroes” Ms. Roth consistently creates safe spaces to explore adventurous sex and sexuality in a mature way. I really like her work and look forward to reading more.

I loved it. Tess and Ryan are amazing. And all the Price moments made me laugh so freaking hard. Just as funny as the first book. I can’t wait for the next one.

I am quickly becoming an auto-buy fan of Emily Rath's.  This is the second book I've read in her Jacksonville Rays series and both have been outstanding.  Unlike the first book (and it sounds like the upcoming 3rd book) which are why choose, this book is MF and our FMC is the best friend of our favorite FMC from book 1, Rachel Price.  Tess makes a couple of appearances in the first book and I loved her from the start as the fiery best friend.  This book was challenging because Tess had to leave her previous life in Cincinnati OH after her crappy ex blindsided her at work with some complete BS (he's a real gem as you'll see) and this leads her back to Jacksonville to lean on Rachel and help Mars with a nonprofit he's funding.  When she accidentally ends up sharing Mar's house with Jake (the puppy) their sparks will fly and possibly burn the place down.

This book was so enjoyable to read.  The spice was expertly done. The dirty talk was top notch.  I liked seeing bother FMC and MMC show growth through the story and loved Tess helping the puppy learn some of his kinks ;)   I will say check the TW/CW because if narcissists or gaslighting are triggering for you, then skip this one because the ex is really a piece of work.

Totally recommend you check this out!!
