I loved the spice and the chemistry in this books as well going back to the Rays and their families. They all give me the found family feels I need the spice is a bonus. It also talks about important things such as domestic violence, claiming yourself back from it and as well as trusting others when it comes to your fears or perceived shortcomings such as a learning disability.
One thing that did bother me was Tess's comment about having real D again, that felt to me as a bi reader and person that invalidated her queerness a bit. I may be taking it a bit personally, but felt I needed to share it That being said from this book the goods outweighs the negatives. Not being afraid to speak your needs and just having trust in your partner. I really do love both of these books and copies of my own. I hope the allusion to the third leads to it.

This universe. Dr. Rath thank you for these gems. I laugh so much in these. I love them. These books are everything. They touch your heart, they make that kitty purr, and I'm surprised I don't have abs from how much they make me laugh. Miss Tess I knew I would love her but I had no idea the kind of strength she had. God she is such a freaking badass and I love it. I love her confidence, her take no shit attitude and how fiercely she loves. I understood her needs to run and her feelings of never being seen and to see her overcome those was beautiful. And Ryan ugh to find a man that obsessed is the goal. We love that this puppy had some bite and couldn't have had a better man for our wild leading lady. Ryan was so fun to get to know he killed me so much. He also cared so much. I can't wait to see more from these families and I just can't rave about these enough 🥰
