I’ve never read a book like Butcher and Blackbird. Despite the trigger warnings at the front of the book, it wasn’t as scary as I thought!! I liked it because it was compelling and different, even if a little gruesome. Theresa was only one part I skim read because I was like ew. The romance wasn’t amazing like it kind of was 0 to 100, for a book set over four years I think there should been more of a build up of why Rowan and Sloane’s relationship.
That said, the cliffhanger has me ready for the next book and I’m super curious for Fionn’s story too.
