I was absolutely entranced by this book. It had a lot of Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn energy that I enjoyed. It was definitely haunting to understand this book as a memoir, as experiences the author has encountered. I had chills honestly and felt a tremendous sense of pain to be privy to this dynamic between mother and daughter.
