Either I’m broken or I’m heartless.. not sure which it is but this book didn’t break me. Please for the love of Christ, check your trigger warnings before reading this book!! This one had me dragged through all the emotions for sure! I cannot relate to the trauma the main characters went through. Thank you Jesus. I can only imagine the mental war that would rage on..

This was a very good book. Got me in the feels a few times..the story was good and the characters were good. I can see how someone in this situation would act just this way. Heartbreaking

4.25/5 I almost dnfed this book at the first part. It's really dark and there aren't any trigger warnings, I was afraid of what's coming next. As long as I got through part one, I couldn't put the book down. Their struggling after the incident, the push and pull between MCs and the profound discussion of love, passion and finding yourself back drew me in so deep and made me feel so much more than I've expected. In the nutshell, this book is unique, original and powerful. It's not perfect but the author handled the heavy topics very well. *Immediately adding Lotus to my TBR*

The trauma on this book is like nothing I have ever read, and I’ve read some fucked up shit.

Dean and Cora’s connection is heartbreakingly beautiful but ultimately devastating. I can’t even begin to imagine what they went through and how to come back from that.

I’ll never forget this book and the fucking heartbreak it gave me.

Maybe like 3.5, I didn't do this book any favours by having a massive reading break after most of the shit went down

Im heartbroken. In the best way possible. Dean and Cora are everything to me, their story is so unique, so touching. This is so much more than a simple romance. Its eveything
