Before reading this book, I advise people to read the triggers. 

I absolutely loved this book. The subjects, context, and content were written so well. There were so many heart aching moments which made me emotional, but there were nice moments too. I feel the author got the balance correctly, especially for the topics based in the book. 

I was definitely routing for Dean in this book.

I could not put this book down but I did want to at times, and not because of the dark elements (CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS) but because I found 99% of the characters unlikable (including Cora) 😬Overall, i did enjoy this and was moved to tears. This was not really a dark romance to me. I loved the writing, Dean (not a bad boy), Tabitha, and Lily. My favorite line from the book is… 

It’s still beating.  
    You’re still okay.  
    And I still love you.

It's a fast paced book for something that should (at the very least) be medium paced. And the characters are just so unrealistic. They literally went through a month of torture and no one seems the littlest bit concerned or understanding. And it's really annoying.
