I must admit, I'm very stumped about what to write for this review. Although this is still classed as dark romance, I did find there was alot more based on the storyline than the romance side of things (not complaining! I loved that šŸ˜). It is alot more focused on the emotions had with controlling relationships and done so well too! I read the first 50% really quickly and then had to keep looking up words for the law side of things. That needed to be kept more simple in my opinion. And that ending though?!

This book… THIS BOOK!!! I am going to try to bring it into words what this book did to me but it was… WOW.

I’ll Kiss You Twice is book 2 in the Shame On You series and I don’t know what Willow Winters put in these books but I just forget that I’m reading. I’m sucked in it from the first page until the last one. I love how this series just started as a dark romance but has a thriller twist to it aswell.

Braelynn and Declan really go on a journey in this one and I feel for them both. Their life really is way darker in this one and the constant push and pull of certain feelings they have are so well written. You feel as if you are in that same push and pull yourself while reading this book and yes, you really forget that you’re reading because of that. You’re so into the story…

Now the ending, I really did NOT see that one coming. I was like noooo, nope this can’t be the ending where is the rest of it. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.

Yeah I can’t wait to know what happens in the next book and what comes next after the ending of this one??? Yeah this was a really easy 5 star read.

"The only way anyone will ever touch you again is if you leave me."

Wow, I thought book one ended on a cliffhanger... I was wrong, this one tugs at those heart strings. I'm honestly not too sure what to say! Why doesn't he believe her? Can I as a reader believe her? I really don't know at this point in the series! I'm teetering on a decision but loving this story the suspense is incredible. Poor Brealynn was not cut out for this life style though and Declan could use some pointers on how to care for someone. I want a happy ending for them both. Currently not sure if their story will have that HEA though. Thank you W. Winters for another great story I can't wait for the third to be released!

I'll Kiss You Twice picks up right after Tease Me Once ending. Declan believes Braelynn betrayed him and is keeping 'his pet' under surveillance as he figures out what to do next.

The whole situations is messed up and complicated, due to feelings and miscommunication being involved. I loath miscommunication troupe. I just can't stand it. We are adults here - talk! What Declan needed to do is talk to Braelynn and find out what she knows in calmer manner. We already established he is dom in the relationship and she responds to him really well. So, pardon my french, but why not use that tactic? To blindly go into this and afterwards do almost 180 was just dumb, in my opinion. This was just for readers shock. I didn't feel sorry for Declan and his feelings. I wanted to slap him. I did feel sorry for Braelynn and her naĆÆve and soft nature. Thank god she understands this is dangerous.

I know this is dark romance/erotica, but man I was so worked up about miscommunication and how situations was 'handled' that I had hard time enjoying spicy scenes. How weird is this :D

Anywhooo... It was interesting read for sure. And that cliffy was just mean. I need next book asap lol

Thank you to Willow Winters, for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts are my own and left voluntarily.

Thank you so much to the author for the copy of this book for an honest review.

Am I becoming a dark romance person?

This is my second Willow Winters book (after TMO, obviously) and I need to know, does she always go out of her way to put us in distress by ending with such suspenseful cliffhangers?

This book was invigorating, there was always something happening to keep you on your toes. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

There were a few loose ends from the first book that I wish could have been tied in the second book so that the plot could thicken instead of being prolonged, but from what I’ve seen from Willow Winters so far, I’m sure the third book is nothing like I’m expecting, and I can’t wait for

ā€˜In pajamas he should seem casual, but there’s no doubting what I see in front of me. A man who isn’t going to let me go and if ever he does … I think it will be my last breath.’

There is absolutely nothing casual about Declan Cross

This is book 2 in the Shame On You series that follows Braelynn and Declan. I would not read this unless you have read Tease Me Once first. This picks up right where the first book ends and its just as emotional as expected. My heart was wrenching in the first few chapters of this book and didn't cease. The first book was kind of a roller coaster of emotions however, this book tops that. I was so absorbed into this story that when a character in this book was afraid or sad, as was I. It brought me close to tears numerous times and I honestly feel so much for these characters. I cannot wait to see what actually happens at the end of this book since it was a major cliffhanger and we won't know the outcome until the next book!
