You know what Rafe really needed? An elementary school counselor. I don't even understand what the point of this book was.

So funny! Rafe Katchedorian has decided he will break every rule in the school handbook with a little help from his friend Leo. Throughout his adventures, he runs into the Dragon Lady, the Lizard King, and Jeanne G, all three of whom are real people in his school!
This book had me chuckling a few times as he completed his 'challenges' in interesting and unique ways.
I enjoyed seeing how Operation R.A.F.E. turned out & was glad that Rafe learned a lesson by the end of it. I also really appreciate that his teachers recognized he was not a traditional learner and gave suggestions on what they could do to help him complete grade 6, even though he had been in a lot of trouble and didn't have the grades to move on (at that point).

I really enjoyed reading this book to my classes. We all laughed a lot at Rafe and the trouble he gets himself into. Will Rafe make it to the 7th grade or will he break too many rules and get expelled from school? Read it to find out.

I read this book in one day because it was super fun to read. A lot of things that happened in the book were the things I dreamed of doing in school. Very easy to read!

I read this book because one of my students really loved this series. As a teacher, I will admit that I didn't love this book at the beginning. Rafe seemed to just be breaking rules for the fun of it, and that annoyed me. I liked the end of the book though, because I like that one of his teachers found an outlet for him and a place where he would fit in better. He didn't escape his punishment, but he found a way to try to be better next year. I liked that.
