One woman’s poignant journey of self discovery
Being the same “Type A” personality, I empathize with Caroline. You work so hard to make things right that you just hate change. But her choice of boyfriend really sucks. In a way I think she thinks she doesn’t deserve anyone better. The supporting cast, especially Zoe, add so much depth to this book. This small beach town really comes to life. Oh, the angst is rampant in this character driven tale, but you just can’t look away (or quit reading). And at the end you can’t help but smile.
