The first half of this book was fantastic. The dynamic between the two leads was incredible, the art was beautiful, the story felt grounded and the situation was realistic and relatable without being too vague. Once the story got fantastical, it really messed with a lot of the good stuff the story had going for it, although the art never really improved.
