i really gotta check trigger warnings before starting new books man… but absolutely loved this. tillie walden tells such beautiful stories and has the most STUNNING artwork. i read ON A SUNBEAM a couple years ago and loved it so much i immediately started recommending it to literally everyone i knew. the colors and landscapes walden depicts are just gorgeous, they stick with you forever and i always find several i’d love to make my phone background haha. 

also there’s really something about my last read (morgan rogers’ HONEY GIRL) also having the theme of “are you listening” and then i picked this next completely unintentionally.

The book jumps a bit and it is only towards the end that it all pulls together, but the colours are amazing.
