That being said, I felt that the book started off with strong body horror and slowly made its way into softer horror. I really felt that ruler of the winds and sand wasn't even horror (unless it's about the horror of unchecked men then yes). I was absolutely hooked by the first story, jaw dropped, shocked. I think foreign horror is my favorite genre now
