It was OK. Aussie kids novel. I have certainly read worse. Paul Jennings but less weird. Morris Gleizman but less real world issues (which made it a bit flat). The "try to make boys read" style of book but at least it's 90s boy culture which was an attempt to reach real boys instead of the hyper-masculine BS we've gone back to now. From an era where I think they wrote a bit better instead of thinking the only thing kids want is fart jokes.

I know I sound old.
