I listened to this as an audiobook and I was super surprised about how much I liked it. Yes it's not the environment that I would like to use leadership skills in, however, there are so many great examples of good leadership and skills I'd like to develop.
A lot of my reviews are also available with photo at my Bookstagram: @justmyfantasyworld

Very insightful book to reflect on your personal leadership or dealing with other leaders. Highly recommend this book for anyone looking to reflect and improve their leadership!
I am a big fan of Jocko. I like to listen to his podcast and read his other leadership books. I think this book does a good job of consolidating that information. I can see how Jocko is becoming a better and better author as the books have gone on.
This book was designed as a reference book, not read straight through. I only read things straight through. The idea of skipping around makes me go bonkers.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for concise advice in many areas that leaders struggle with. I really wish I had heard of Jocko in my teenage years or early twenties; I could have saved myself some hard lessons.

Great advice from Jocko and a easy to read set of readily usable maxims for improving work and relationships
