This was a rage-inducing look at court cases involving Black men represented by Thurgood Marshall, in particular, the Groveland boys. It was very informative and would have been frustrating, but not so much, if we weren't still seeing this type of "justice". It is amazing that lawyers and activists were so brave to face such rabid hatred to help those in need of hope and justice.

This book was very well done from beginning to end, keeping me at the edge of my seat, but it is definitely a very emotional book that you have to be in the right mindset for because due to the historical context of the book it can be draining.
