This sequel is just as intense and mysterious as the first novel, with more open-door scenes with the main characters. LOTS of twists and OMG moments.

I want to just stand up and applaud. Every time I get to the end of a KBR book and turn the page and it says ‘acknowledgments’ I’m always like “NOOO MORE!” But that’s just how great Krista and Becca are. I am truly in AWE. Edge of my seat drama and fun! And the banter omg Rocky and Phoebe are everything to me. Literally an hour standing ovation in my room for this book!
I have no idea where this series is going next and I cannot wait to be back in Victoria and the crew to see what kind of con they get themselves into next.
Thank you to Valentine PR, Berkley, and Krista and Becca for the ARC.

I love a good heist and now I might love a good con even more! This book was great. It picked up right where the first book left off and I feel like it had a great balance of action and character development. The flashbacks were so so good and gave more information into everyone’s history. Rocky and Phoebe were a guaranteed slam dunk for me. I loved them in book 1 and still do! The surprise (which I loooooooooooved) was Hailey. Also really enjoyed getting more of Oliver, Jake, Trevor, and Nova. I just love this little con crew. And omg PLEASE. The way I am so invested in book 3 already is wiiiild. I have questions and I need answers!
The ladies brought the heat in this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this family gang and this book was filled with more angst and scheming, but also took us on a new path that I am excited to read about in the next book!
Krista and Becca definitely know how to keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing what will happen next, and I’m so here for it!

Oh how I loved returning to this little con artist found family <3
While this didn't hit the way the first one did, I also didn't expect it to. The first one was such a special reading experience and stands on its own enough that I knew if the rest of the series didn't live up to it, I would always have that first book. Of course, that doesn't mean this one wasn't still enjoyable.
I loved how much more we got from the other Tinrocks and Graves in this book, ESPECIALLY OLIVER MY BELOVED. And Hailey and Oliver? Oh I'm so interested please I need more of them. If there's a love triangle, I just want Hailstorm and Olly.
I loved how completely devoted these characters are to each other and how the events of this book brought them even closer, and I loved how they took Jake into their group, and getting to watch them all scheme. Especially loved seeing more of Hailey and Phoebe's friendship. The platonic love in this series is almost as central as the romantic love and that's so special to me <3
As for what I didn't love, the pacing in this one was a bit off and the plot felt more...scattered? We'd take large skips forward in time but then flashback to the time skipped, to where I wasn't sure why we didn't just see those flashbacks happen in normal time. It didn't ruin the reading experience, just made everything feel a bit off and harder to track.
This was one of those books where a lot was happening and nothing at the same time, and it dragged a bit in a way that the first one didn't. Also, the ending felt so abrupt I didn't realize it was ending until I flipped the page and it was the Acknowledgements. There was literally a chapter that had such a perfect ending line that I thought the book was over and I wish it had ended there because it would have hit so much harder, but then there were several more and then it just ended randomly. It's, again, not enough to ruin the reading experience, but I felt like they missed an opportunity to more effectively end the story.
K&B's books also tend to be a lot on the spicier side, but as someone who skips spice scenes, I can appreciate how they still build the emotional and romantic connections between characters. While I definitely still buy into Phoebe and Rocky's romantic connection and thought we got some great moments between them, the focus was more heavily weighted on the physical connection side and on giving them spicy scenes, which isn't my personal preference. Still love them though. My childhood-partners-in-crime-completely-intertwined-friends-doesn't-even-begin-to-cover-what-they-are to lovers duo.
This may not have been as strong as the first one, but we still got a return to the found family, the unpacking of family trauma, the scheming and criminal activity, and the ride-or-die love between the friends and PhoebeRocky from the first book. HIGHLY recommend picking up this series if any of that sounds like your cup of tea.
Since Dishonestly Yours was one of my favorite reads last year, I'm so beyond grateful to Valentine PR and Berkeley for this arc!

oh god, this book was EVEN BETTER than the first. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this found family that’s been created :) being able to see phoebe and rocky dating was EVERYTHING as someone who was screaming at them to ‘get together already’ in dishonestly yours. the wait was truly WORTH IT!!!
now listen … krista, becca … i am BEGGING you to please please please give us oliver-hailey-jake as a throuple!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 i NEED THEM so damn bad!!!!
rocky and jake’s friendship (ik surprising right 🤭) was giving ryke, connor and lo but if they were a duo 😫😫 don’t even get me started on the “our girlfriend” thing ;)
i never expected to find out everything regarding WHO our core six really were in this book— i figured we’d get a partial truth here and the full thing in dangerously ours but i’m certainly not complaining here lol. it does make me excited to see how things with varrick will unfold 👀 trevor, though, honey you pissed me off with that ending … what he did ruined the con entirely like ??? how was no one mad at him ????
Thank you, NetGalley and Pan Macmillan, for this ARC — which was given in exchange for an honest review!

Thank you Valentine PR for the eARC of Destructively Mine in exchange for an honest review.
Releases: April 29, 2025
I really enjoyed this book. Dishonestly Yours set up the dominoes that fell in Destructively Mine. The first book was our building block and this book is where everything unfolded. It is a slower burn than the previous book. However, I didn’t feel bored and I found myself wanting to read more each time. It was suspenseful and spicy. I was so invested in all the information the group was learning in real time that I never wanted to stop reading—I wanted answers just as bad as the characters did. AND AGAIN, I am eating up every little Addicted Series Easter egg!!
Rocky and Phoebe are still everything to me and I truly think their characters came together. Nova, Olly, Hailey, Jake, and Trevor did overpower in some aspects but I actually enjoyed that. I liked that these other characters are getting their moments to shine but I also would LOVE to see some chapters in their POV. With the way it ended I feel like we could really start doing a deeper dive into Hailey and her current situation. She is a character that has so much potential and room for growth. I would love to see things from her POV.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this series and I will be impatiently waiting for book three.

Book 2 in the Webs We Weave series was a wild ride—I could not put it down!
Dishonestly Yours ended with so many questions, and this book picked up right where it left off. Phoebe is fake dating Jake, the golden boy of Victoria, but secretly, she and Rocky are finally together. All they want is to be open and honest about their relationship, but first, they have to help Jake.
Then their moms show up with an agenda of their own—and zero answers to the siblings’ questions. Phoebe, her brothers, Rocky, and Hailey are ready to uncover the truth… even if they have to lie to get it.
I absolutely love these siblings and the family they’ve built. Their bond only grows stronger in this book. And we get to see a whole new side of Rocky—which I LOVED. He’s always been protective of his people, but here, we see him extend that to Jake too. And don’t even get me started on how he loves Phoebe. I adore him. He gives off major Connor mixed with Lo vibes… and if you know, you know.
This book had everything—grifting cons, off-the-charts chemistry between Rocky and Phoebe, suspense, mystery, and a couple curveballs at the end that had me reeling. I was literally on the edge of my seat, flipping pages like mad, hoping every question would be answered. Some were… but now I just want more. I can’t wait for the next book!
I didn’t care for book one too much and if I didn’t have an arc of this book I wouldn’t have continued. I shouldn’t have. This book was not for me. It was way too long at over 500 pages. Nothing major seemed to happen until the end.
I did like that Rocky and Phoebe were together more on page though it felt more like lust than love. I wanted more romantic sweet moments between them.
Hailey’s character annoyed me so much in this book.
Sadly, I won’t be continuing with this series.
Thank you to Berkley Pub and NetGalley for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
