What could be more challenging than vampires and werewolves? Hybrids!! Yes, Kaycee, queen of the local coven, just wants respect and to kick some butt to protect her coven from Pantheos and his group of hybrids. Kaycee is a strong feminine character that shows courage and determination. She is a good leader when the rest of the coven listen. Told through multiple POV’s, we do see the story from many angles which helps keep the plot easy to follow. It was a good story for the paranormal fantasy loverl

This is for those over 18 only due to adult content within.

Kaysee Belluomo is a vampire, but she isn’t just any vampire, she is the head of the Milite Coven along with her husband Dominic Belluomo and they are the elite of the elite of vampires, but one day in 2030 that changed when they were made aware of an individual who was creating a hybrid of a lycan and a vampire to create a new super race of supernaturals. Unfortunately, reports were that slowly but surely, they were taking over the USA and recruiting to their coven with the promise of power and a better life and most were taking the vampire in charge of it up on his offer because of his talent for persuasion. On this particular day they had invaded the Milite Coven headquarters and that is not something that Kaysee is impressed with in the slightest, however, her husband's reluctance to do anything apart from strategise and make plans has Kaysee all riled up and after blood.

Forty years later and Kaysee’s predictions have come true and the Milite Coven have moved to Las Vegas in the hopes that they can find a food source and stay one step ahead of the hybrids following them, however, this plan hasn’t worked and the Coven’s members have diminished from over a hundred to six including Kaysee, her husband and her son. As they go hunting for hybrids in McCarran Airport Kaysee is still being undermined by the men in the Coven and she is getting sick of it, however, because she is a deadly fighting machine and completely head over heels with her husband, she goes along with the plan, albeit reluctantly, however, on one of these hunting trips things start to go wrong. After they have returned to the hotel and Kaysee finds out that her son has spoken to the leader of the enemy and has some opinions on him that don’t quite match up to his parents one, an argument ensues and loyalties are questioned and the next day while going to confront said leader, they split into teams and some split off on their own, however, when the time comes to leave, some of her Coven are captured and turned into more of the hybrid puppets. Due to this unexpected loss, the Belluomo’s decide to recruit some newborns from a group of humans who are still left in Las Vegas, so after they feed, they start taking the group back one by one to rebuild the Milite Coven back up.

When two of the missing coven members return to their home base, one is completely won over and the other is the opposite, enhanced, but still loyal to a fault, so when they are ambushed by hybrids and lycans alike on home turf, Kaysee does everything in her power to protect those who are left, however, her husband is kidnapped and flown out of the USA and overseas to Europe. Kaysee is devastated and retreats into herself for a few days before snapping back out of it and planning the rescue of the two men she loves most. Will Kaysee be able to successfully rescue her husband and son all while wiping out the rest of the Hybrid Coven, or will the past come back to haunt them and reduce their plans to cinders? This is a rip roaring romp of a paranormal romance with passion, violence and sex throughout which leaves you on no doubt of who is in charge and what happens when a female vampire is scorned.

This is the second book in the Jaded Vamp books. I was captivated by the cover of this book. The plotline has a fast pace to it. I found myself flipping the pages faster and faster to get to the end of the book. The characters are unique and complex. It is a vampire romance that includes vampires and vampire/Lycan hybrids. Kaysee is trying to extinguish the hybrids and is having issues completing the task. Her husband, Dominic, was abducted throughout her mission. Will Kaysee be able to complete her mission? Will she find her husband? I highly recommend this book as well as the first book. I cannot wait to see what other books L.D. Wosar has written as I am intrigued by this story.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is the second book in this series and I will be going back to read the first one as well. This is a newer author for me and I look forward to reading more from them in the future. This is a well written story about Kaysee and the adventure she goes on to get her husband back after he was abducted. This is a story that is full of action which kept me turning pages. There is so much going on in this story but the author did a great job of keeping me from getting confused. The characters are not only relatable but also bring the story to life on each page. I am glad I picked up this book and so will you be. I highly recommend this book.

Kaysee and Dominic Belluomo are the heart of the book. So many twists and turns to keep you riveted on the edge of your seat. The author has a great grasp of adding humor to difficult situations. Dominic’s past comes back full speed ahead. You get knowledge of the past of each Kaysee and Dominic that adds more understanding to the story. A brutal love story for the modern day vampire.

All hail Queen Kaysee! I love a novel that has a strong female lead, and this certainly delivered on that! I found myself pulled into an alternate world, where humans are no longer the alphas and the fight between different vampires, and hybrids, and witches comes into play. Vycans are starting to take over, and it's up to Kaysee to pull herself together after a great loss, to bring her Coven of Vampires to battle. Wow! I was blown away by the buildup of the characters, the description of the weak/strong minded, and the family ties that have you rooting for them until the end. Though this isn’t a genre I tend to read, I'll be looking forward to Book 3 of this amazing trilogy. Well done, L.D. Wosar!

This book is a wild ride! Full of action, sassy women, and alpha males. The Milite coven of vampires, lead by Dominic Belluomo, is losing members to Panthaos and being turned into Lycan/Vampire hybrids to build his army. Kaysee Belluomo must rescue her husband and son before they are destroyed by Panthaos, who wants to use the Belluomo blood to create the most powerful, deadly hybrids ever and destroy all the remaining vampire covens. Will she get to them in time and be able to stop Panthaos?

Wild Vamp is the second book in the Jaded Vamp series by L.D. Wosar. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I didn’t realise going into the book that this was the second book in the series. I really wish I had realised that and read book on first. But having said that, it didn’t take too much for me to figure out what had, and was, going on. But I think having all the previous books info would definitely have enhanced my reading experience of this story- so I will definitely be going back to read book #1.
This is a bit of a gritty paranormal romance- with vampires, action, violence, angst, family, vengeance, sizzle, battles, and a bit of a dystopian feel.
From what I can gather, this book takes place decades after the events in book one. Kaysee Belluomo is a powerful vampire, who along with her coven, are on a mission to world of the Vycans (a vampire/lycan hybrid). So, get set for a violent, blood-soaked, action-packed adventure- as Kaysee not only has to deal with the Vycans and the ensuing battles, but also an enemy with a vendetta- as well as trying to find her missing husband and son. No rest for the wicked here!

Thank you, L.D. Wosar!

Wild Vamp (Jaded Vamp Book 2) by L.D. Wosar is a romance story. This is a fast-paced vampire tale that I enjoyed from start to finish. I thought vampires were done to death, but LD gave us a fresh look, and I loved the humour sparked with the action, the danger and adventure to make it a good read. The timeline of the story has jumped forward by quite a few years compared to the first book. If you love a little grit and grime, violence, and blood then you will love this.

I jumped into this book not knowing what I might find but wow - what a ride. I really enjoyed the fast pace and characters development. Lots to enjoy. If you love a good paranormal romance with lots of plot movement, immediately pick this up. Now I’m headed back to pick up the rest of the series. So good!
