4.5- this is not a well structured review but idgaf. I love the relationship and the tension and the dialogue between Ash and Sera. I did find the foul language and some of the casual speech to take away from the fantasy period but I don’t really care- I’m not a purest. I could’ve used longer spice scenes lol but they were still great. I definitely love Ash & Sera more than Cas & Poppy. I’m dying to learn more about Kolis- give me his story- what was his side of the whole Mycella history?? And I really want to hear about the origins of the wolven- barely teases this.

Bele is a new fav. Reaver is my hero. Nyktos is bae. Sera is legit one of my fav FMC.

I don’t even care what JLA writes in these series at this point, I’m gonna read it and I’m gonna like it by the end. Alas, now I spend 6 more months begging her for my next fix.

The first 200 pages were pretty boring and useless. I don’t know if the author was told by her editor to fill pages or she just had a shit editor but holy shit. That was a hard 200 pages to get through. The middle part was a little less bad and fortunately the last 200 was semi enjoyable. The general story, at the end, was decent. But fucking hell. Girl. Get a better editor.
