I like the concept of this book, but I just felt like it went nowhere, plot or romance wise.

I wanted to LOVE this book and, consequently, the series, but there was something about the writing that just put me off. I went into it, hoping it would be like Charlie Cochet's THIRDS series. It's not. I couldn't feel the emotional connection between the protagonists. Victoria tell us there is one, she just doesn't get around to showing it. all I can say is this book has the bones of a good story, just not the flesh, so book 1 is all I can read for now.

Great idea the whole enhanced thingy :) Really liked the boys. Also it is always a good sign when you are still reading the first book but already have downloaded the second one in the series *G*

This book was so good. The whole concept was so interesting and I got a superhero vibe the whole time I was reading it. Too much goes on for me to explain it. There are people who can do it much better. I loved Finn, Talon and the whole team. I'm assuming this isn't going to be the only book. If it is going to be a series it's going to be good. This is my first book by this author and I love when I love a book when reading an author for the first time. Once again I loved it...

4.5

Though sad to think this book is plausible in terms of public attitude to the situation, I found it an interesting world. I really liked Finn and I was glad we got both mc’s POV. Talon was a little hot and cold but I’m glad for where things stopped. I’m looking forward to the next book.
