I have read Amari and the night brothers by B.B. Alston. This is the first book in the Supernatural investigations series. I listened to the audiobook for a buddy read.
I enjoyed this a lot. It was a good twist on tropes I have read before and I of course loved the diversity. I didn't enjoy the narrator of the audiobook though, which made me enjoy the book less. There were also some small things that bothered me, but overall a great read. I gave it 4 stars.
