I loved every second of it. This series is seriously amazing. I can't wait to read more and follow the stories of this wonderful group of people. I couldn't put it down.

At the beginning of the summer I was fortunate enough to Alpha read the second book in the Stone Haven Romance series, According to Plan, by @authorvellis. I was even luckier to get to re-read it after it went through the final edits when she sent ARCs out!
If you aren't familiar with this series, it's a 6(?) book series based in a small town in SC. Each book can be read as a stand alone.
Anyways, this story revolves around two childhood best friends; Madison Alexander, who has spent the past 6 years living in NYC, and Travis Ford, a soldier who has been living in his home town since she left!
I have to say, I absolutely loved the original story that I read, but I fell even more in love with the book and the characters the second time through!
Made and Travis definitely have my heart!

Oh my gosh the actual feels. This beautiful second chance romance had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Victoria made me feel every little thing in this story. I laughed, cried, hurt, and rejoiced with her amazing characters. I LOVE Madi and Travis! Travis is such a southern gentleman and Madi is a girl with so much on her plate and still has one of the biggest hearts I have ever read about. Such a beautiful story with relatable characters that was written perfectly. I highly recommend this book.

Madi and Travis’s story was such an amazing addition to the Stone Haven series. Second chance romance is one of my favorite types of stories and this one did it so well. I can’t wait to read more in this series!

There’s this moment when you read a book and you just know you love it. Mine was right at the beginning, I was smiling. This book makes you a believer. You just will know true love exists and no matter what obstacles lies in your way - love wins. According to Plan takes you on this sentimental, hopeful, loving journey.
Madi Johnson comes home to help her father and is instantly faced with her past her best friend Travis, the town she left behind and all the feelings that come rushing back. You will feel all the feels.
Words are hard to find that captures all the emotions I felt once I finished, nostalgia, hope, family and always love. This fierce love that was felt in this book is amazing. It’s felt in so many different ways and I love that with Victoria’s writing, it’s so rich with emotions.
According to Plan is definitely a book that will stay with me.

I couldn't have chosen a better book to mark my return from a reading hiatus. "According to Plan" is my third book of Victoria Ellis and boy, it keeps getting better and better! Madison and Travis couldn't be any more different when it comes to their family dynamic and careers. But one thing that brought them together is their love despite being at odds with time. There is something so poetic in the way Victoria has written this story that's woven by earnestness, strength and vulnerability. What I truly loved about this story is how both characters gained perspective, which allows them to move on from their past and tackle challenges head-on. This book is a memorable fusion of nostalgia, passion and joy—a touching and sentimental read.

Oh I wasn’t expecting all those emotions. Damn it Victoria you did it to me again. Haha. Madison and Travis were friends who just couldn’t cross that line. Madison ran off embarrassed, but then six years later she has to go home due to an emergency. What she wasn’t expecting was to run into Travis again. Their friendship picks right back up like no time has passed. When they do cross that line their story will face some hard obstacles, but can they survive it? I always love a good second chance/ friends to lover story. This is a definite must read for me cause Victoria always knows how to put you through the ringer of feels. I hope everyone checks out not only this book but some of her others as well.

This was such a great read. Everything about Travis and Madison’s story and journey from beginning to end was memorable, heartwarming, touching, and definitely realistic. I honestly don’t think there was a second when I was reading this book that I wasn’t swooning over these two. I honestly love their friendship and how it grew into something more in a very genuine way. I didn’t feel forced or rushed at all. Most of you know I have been reading a lot of dark romance this year, so being able to read something like this is definitely refreshing, even though there is definitely some heartbreak in this book. I shed some tears, though it was light and a great palate cleanser! This was my first book by Victoria Ellis and I definitely don’t think it’ll be my last. If you’re looking for a wholesome, small town romance that will definitely make you cry and want nothing but the best for our two main characters Travis and Madison then this is something you definitely need to pick up!
