Bought this book thinking it was going to be more about the 'modern' loneliness into the digital age. A sort of long essay. I was somewhat wrong. Borgna touches on it in a few chapters, but then quickly starts to talk about loneliness within literature and more scientific fields.
I kind of lost interest after the first third of the book, but it is still a solid piece of work. Wish there was less of a religious undertone in each chapter. Felt that some propagandistic message was being gently rubbed down my throat.
