TW: Suicide, Death, Fire Violence

November 9th was a whirlwind of emotions and a rollercoaster to read. I will say I didn’t like the ending or Ben in general. This book had plot twist after plot twist. I will say I read this after Ugly Love and I have mixed feelings about this book.

Plot:
Benton James Kessler and Fallon O’Neil meet at a restraunt after her father began insulting her about her appearance after her accident related to her acting career. Ben steps in and this is when the fake dating troupe and Insta-love story starts. Every November 9th they both promised to meet up and have no contact throughout the year. The question is can their love survive throughout the other 364 days?

Ben wants to make their love story into a novel by only meeting once a year.

Throughout the years there is a discovery of lies and heartbreak.

Though the plot somewhat predictable, the turns in several tremendous events successfully added enough drama to it which made the story more compelling to be read. Overall, it's a light read and page turning book.

This is my first time reading a Colleen Hoover book and it did make me understand why people like her books so much.

This was a interesting plot and I enjoyed the duo perspectives. I found it hard to get into but around 1/4 in I got very into it and just kept reading. I’m not a huge fan of all the choices made when writing this book but I did enjoy it.

I unfortunately already knew the twist for this book but I still found it interesting to read even with knowing.
